Reply to a comment on zeissimages...

Hey, JT; I'm posting this reply to your comment on zeissimages website, since I was unable to figure out how to do it on zeissimages. yes, the dog was very much alive. It was just cooling off in the May heat. There are a lot of homeless dogs (and cats, for that matter) in Istanbul. Generally...

    I can't open...

When I open a page with my photos, I seem unable to find a little tab (three horizontal lines in right bottom corner), on my recent pictures, even though it is present on earlier-posted images. I'm sure that you can fix it, JT.

    Something doesn't work...

Yeah, I see that. Can you make it more obvious to other members?

    Something doesn't work...

It's hard to get into one's own pictures. I had to do it through my profile, and then click on posted photographs. It feels like a step back from the earlier version of gallery. I hope it's only a temporary setback.

Any photographers doing "Alternative Photography"? Show some images.

Here it is. T-T-max 100 4x5 developed in the reversal chemistry, then selenium-toned.

    How do you photograph now?

I have posted this tread before, but it disappeared, so here I will repeat myself: since you switched to digital camera, how has your shooting changed? For me, I stopped bracketing exposures, except in tricky situations. Also, now I seldom use a tripod. The Fujifilm X-Pr0 3 I'm using is so good...

It would be good if the photographers could respond to the comments directly...

I've noticed that when I go back to the earlier-posted images to add more specific detail of locations, it goes straight to new comments. It's a bit confusing, and I wish there was a way to add the locations to the older images without it looking like the photographer is commenting on his/her...

It would be good if the photographers could respond to the comments directly...

I wanted to respond to your question about a sleeping dog in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, but the only way I could do it is to go to FORUMS. It would've been much simpler if one could respond directly under the image. And it would keep FORUMS from getting overwhelmed.

    Where are your pictures ??

Hey, JT; I've read your wish that I'd include more information about my posted images. From now on I will heed your wish. I will gradually go back into the posted pictures and write in the comments more extensive info. Just let me know what should I include in my descriptions. I think I always...

    Removing/ altering the comment

Thanks. Another thing is I posted a tread a couple days ago. It was titled something like " How has your shooting changed now, that you switched to digital". I don't see it anywhere, as if it disappeared.

    PS. I still can't see the "like"button.

    Removing/ altering the comment

I didn't mean to like my own photo. I just, once I posted a comment about somebody's photo, couldn't "like it" anymore.

    Removing/ altering the comment

I find it impossible to remove, or alter the comment I have just posted. Also, if I pst a comment I can't "like' the image...

Gallery with your username as subdomain

I think that's a great idea I hated to have to go to the members list first, and then look for the photographer I liked..
