A very old DMC-LC5 with Leica optics. CYMG filter. Original slightly noisy but with modern software that can be corrected. Nice 4MP image saved as TIFF in camera. Used a 28mm attached lens, with a Leica 28mm finder because the viewfinder was obscured by the big lens attachment.
This is a composite which was built in Live Picture 2.6. Alice was in another picture, her moth friend in another. The sky - burnt out in the original picture - was created new in LP.
PP in Live Picture 2.6.2 Mac Classic app for Tiger OS pre intel platforms only. No longer commercially available unfortunately. It cost $4500 initially. Now it is available on EBay for a few bucks - if you can find it. Works best on Mac OSX 10.4.11 in classic mode.
Latest camera is NEX-5 with Novoflex M adapter. Leitz lenses work fine. The low contrast Elmar 50mm can create high contrast high sharpness images by adjustments in camera. All lenses easy to focus. Quality of Leitz much better than kit lenses (Rt two). But current price for this set of Leitz >$6k on E-Bay right now.
edited using Live Picture 2.6.2. The task was to make the Jazzman in the painting seem more real/alive than the diner. The face is three dimensional. Any other comments from anyone?
