Chris, I like this photo for a few reasons. First, it's with an M4 and I can see that as it's my favorite camera. You get that and maybe others don't. There was an episode of The Twilight Zone from back when I was a kid... There was a scene similar to this and this image brings that back to me. Otherwise, it's a very subtle but dynamic frame. It speaks volumes about life and the struggle to get to the other side of what lay in front of us. Don

You got me thinking. Here in France many sidewalks and terrace/street cafés still have dirt or gravel surface, even in urban areas. Also, your chairs look too sophisticated to be country ;-)

I like the light, airy, ethereal feel to many of your shots, even the non-IR ones. I just get horrible blown highlights. Maybe you're scanning from prints?
