Certain images are more than just observations. They become stimulus for memories. This image is a memory I never had but now can feel and share. Maybe that's part of the human condition. Maybe that's part of what makes photography so intoxicating. We are all taught to see things as if for the first time. Maybe what's more important is to see things as if it's the last time. Very easy to pass this image by. At first it just sits there waiting for a viewer to make it feel alive... then the viewer gets caught in a visual and emotional trap and can't stop gazing at it, as if it were ready to unveil more subtle info..... I feel the shooter felt the same way, just looking and waiting for the right moment and then....
