In the middle of the Mojave desert, there is a place called Bickel Camp. (Google Earth.) It was an abandoned mining camp I visited in 2007, and captured images of life for miners in the mid century years of the 1900's. This was the kitchen area of a 1958'ish beat up trailer that was left to rust and corrode. Sand covered everything. Notice the wire holding the sink faucets up as the backsplash was too corroded to support it. The Stove is a Princess model. There's one on ebay right now for $900.
Eastern Sierras 2021. would have been nearly perfect except for the smoke from the wildfires through the canopy. I had this printed on metallic paper. Highly recommended for autumn images!
In 2021, fires raged in the Sierras. During the day, the smoke bands were brown and gray, but when the sun went down, it was pure side light that turned the smoke bands red and even purple.

Went to Arizona in April to photograph wild horses. They churn up the dry desert to make clouds of dust. Don't know if you all will like this, but I thought it was kind of ethereal.
