The green on the bridge-pillars is algea-covered stones. The moisture on the pillars has turned green by green algea, caused by the abundant sunshine during the long summer days (almost 20 hs of daylight) and it keeps petty good during winter time as well. We have had an extraordinarily mild winter so far.
