Thanks Carlos - I'll need to dig through my DVDs of scans to be sure but I [i]think[/i this is a scan from a negative. I did make a wet print of this though, so I'm not sure.
But I DO try to always get the 'bathed with light' thing going with my outdoor photography, especially when the subject has a lot of white in it. I use a lot of tricks for that - for example, I shot this through glass, so there is an overall flare. That brings up the shadows, so I can print down the highlights.
I just wish we had HIE back, so it wouldn't take all the tricks! :o
