Are you a moderator? If not I'll look at your photos all I want. If I want to write my comments or reply about them I will. Those are my rights as a member of this site.

No need to start my own site or my own rules. The rules here are just fine.

You want to post photos on this site you better be man enough to take the critisim that may come your way. Otherwise keep them safe from debate at home in your two toned leather embossed family photo album.

Now, I'm done commenting.

Do you own the site here? If you do, I will remove all my photos and never come back again. If you don't, you better start your own and set your rules there!

I also did not know this is a site only for non amateurs. I am happy to admit that I am an amateur who is keen to share everything about photography, snapshots of travel, food and family. What do you intend to share here, may I ask? Policing the world?

Anyway, don't bother to reply or comment as I won't. Please don't look at my photos as I won't look at yours. Keep your comments to yourself and let's keep it that way!

I didn't realize this site was your personal "family photo album" I'm just not interested in "personal amateur snap's" as an art form.
Oh, and by the way, my original question was sincere...guess I must have hit a nerve.

To most, photography is used to preserve memories of favourite times, to capture special moments, to tell stories, to send messages, and as a source of entertainment. Price of the gear is irrelevant and meaningless.

The image posted is my first home cooking after a long business trip, my children enjoyed the chops and it means a lot to me.

The image of the pork chop is no different to someone posting a beautiful model, a painting in a gallery or a wild animal in the bush.

Whilst some may appreciate your B&W film photos posted, others could well find them pretentiously grainy, gloomy and lifeless.

For food lovers or family men, we share the joy of this kind of moments and I am sorry if the photo or the chops did not appeal to you.

Ok, I'm not being factious when I ask what is the purpose of this image? Am I missing something? Or is it really just a snapshot of pork chops taken with a very expensive camera?
