The lens on the Toshiba is identical to the lens on the Leica Digilux 1, except the lens coating seems to be a different color. The Toshiba electronics are not a match for the Leica. It produces low contrast images with a wide dynamic range, but the sharpness and noise control is not as good as the Leica.
