An old Spanish era home. The Philippines was a colony of Spain for around 400 years after which the Americans who gained the Philippines as a result of the Spanish/America war. The Philippines gained their independence after a victorious revolt against the Americans at the beginning of the 20th century. You still find a lot of Spanish influence here in the Philippines but like this old house it is all starting to fade away.
