Not at all! :-) Each to his own, I'm happy with it, but the more constructive criticism the better in my book. The picture was taken from about 12 feet away and F2 on 28mm at that distance gives you a greater DOF. If it was on a 75mm you'd possibly get the effect you indicate but for me the image would lose something. I like the chaos behind him. It's an interesting debate though and one I welcome. Thanks.
i like the photo but not the post processing, seems like too much structure on the background which now competes with the subject, especially considering f2 aperture - it should be smooth as butter... just an opinion, hope you do not get offended
