Given a TAMRON SP 70-201mm f3.5-4 Zoom with the M42 screw fit I tried it on my old PRAKTICA LTL loaded with outdated Kodak TCN 400 film I rated at 250 ASA and home-processed in C41 -- in bright sun I got 1/1000 at f8
