Taken today at Deerfield Beach Florida. Technical: Super Takumar 110 18mm lens at f2.8 (fixed)on NEX-5. Converted from RAW using Silkypix and adjusted in Live Picture 2.6. Converted to WEB using GKON.

It was a grab shot. I turned towards the light and there she was. It was shot contre jour and she had to be lightened up. I made the sand under her feet darker. She was hesitating to move into the water, or perhaps she was fascinated by the waves. The texture in the sky add a three dimensional quality that was in the scene but hard for a camera to capture. I added noise to the picture to make the viewer able to feel the sand.
