This scene is looking west from the eastside of Manhattan. The white building with slanted roof is Citicorp headquarters. The architects were not too bright as the roof edge collects snow and ice, then because it has limited space, proceeds to dump dangerously to the street below. They have to rope off the area each winter. Considering that area is midtown with heavy people and car flow, it acts as a domino effect for the surrounding areas. Thought you might appreciate this.
