This a good picture. The grayscale - was it done in camera or in pp?
The FZ18 did a good job here, the graininess and tone are perfect for this scene. It looks like pictures I made using Ilford film and diafine in the days before digital.
Such memories....I took this train ride in the 1970's. Am excited for you. Traveled to los Galapagos, Quito, then spent a week in the Amazonian jungle. Be very careful of what you eat and attenzione to your surroundings and people tutti il tempo.
