Well, it is a very lovely and intriguing picture, quite a different treatment and I hope you do make more like this. And let us know how this treatment is accomplished. Of course, the sky is unique and contributes greatly to the picture, and you were lucky to capture it.

Like I mentioned before , i tweaked the photo in lightroom4 until I got the photo the way I liked it. I then cropped it and converted it into a jepeg file. I am no expert in photography or in editting in lightroom4 . If I would have manipulated the photo by double exposing or using several photos to come to the final image I would have said so. I will keep an eye out for another intriguing sun set and I will post all of the tweaking I perform.
The first picture was taken while i was driving home from my daughters house , on the roadway from within a moving car. The second picture , which i did not like was also taken from within the car. I did not use any external lighting or use any composite. All the editting was done on lightroom 4.
