While we see the lighted side, the head along with the mind are on the other side, on the "Dark Side of the Moon" where they are hidden from the rest, cannot be seen but only been sensed. Heaven and hell within two hands that cannot been reached. Two hands that are the terminal points of the pulpable reality. The self separated by a barrier. That's my interpretation of the whole thing which makes it ingeniously wonderful.
