JT, my problem with the Otus 55 is that so far it has only been equipped with Nikon and Canon mount. I have yet to see a good NEX/EF adapter - I have a Novoflex NEX/NIK adapter, BUT . . when Zeiss makes a lens for Nikon they reverse the focus ring, courtesy to people used to Nikon lenses. After 55 years behind movie/video cameras, the "correct" way to focus is etched into my brain. I have a Macro Planar 50/2,0 - a wonderful lens, but - simply had to give up using it on the street; it has a Nikon mount AND focuses the "wrong" way. I'll never forgive Nikon for this stupid idea . . !

The lens did a great job. Don't know how the Zeiss could have done better.

for the size of the .95, getthe zeiss 55 otus, use it on the sony and it will blow away the .95 noct. no kidding!

Sometimes I regret I exchanged the old Noct with the 0,95
