I value the 109 auto focus although it is not fast enough to capture sudden changes. Frustrating when you spotted a moment and press asap, and then found your image just a step behind. But I miss the tilted LCD the most. Otherwise, the DLUX 109 is the "moment"Get something.

Dear Chan,
in my opinion, the photos in Street style must "talk", not to be perfect, shooting more often, in these cases, it is unrepeatable. So if the camera is pushed to the limit, and the result is not perfect technically, slightly moved with little noise, etc. no matter, the important thing is that the pictures tell us something.
This is the case for your photos, perfectly describes the time of the shooting situation, skis elderly already awake were playing (mahjong?), While highs are still asleep.
Very very nice.
I not really am me to criticize a photo not level or other imperfections.
Photos "Street" I repeat must speak.
However, the type 109 is a nice car, for me the only flaw is the non-tilting display and the lack of external jack microno (the point of having the opportunity to make 4K film without having a good quality external microphone? )
A hug

I'd like to add. I have no issue with Lux's (or other half-frame) image quality when shot with proper deliberation. It zoom facility is much appreciated for framing. It is a pleasure to walk and concentrate on selecting a properly framed picture, rather than fooling around with adjustments. Only in dim light and expectation of shoot-first-talk-later that I run into problems.

Thank you You obviously have meticulously looked at my photo; your comments gratefully received. It was early in the morning, 6.30 am, and I was shooting with my D-Lux (type 109), not a full-frame camera, 1/125 sec at f2.8. Stretching it a bit, I think. The light was dim and use the D-Lux for its auto-focus system. So, I sacrifice at lot of image quality for quick response. Also the shooting distance was not optimal. Sorry for the poor image quality. It was not the best but I felt that it was better to get something than trying to fiddle with the manual focusing system. Yeah, I agree that may be ISO 800 should have been the limit. Again, appreciate your comment.

Beautiful image, well composed.
But
Um, maybe too much PP?
Interesting that there is noise on the far right at the bottom of the photo, ISO 1250?
Very interesting, again the real picture contradict tests of photo sites is still applicable to the equation that says that noise is inversely proportional to the size of the sensor (with the same number of pixels).
Uhm me needed a backup machine to wear during my long trips, I was thinking just a Four Thirds type 109, but I think 800 Iso is the max limit for a 4/3 as ISO 1600 for an APS-C and 3200 for a FF.
