It must have been a great feeling to take that heavy backpack off!
We do what we must under the circumstances. Me, I'm happy that I use my foldable lightweight luggage carrier for going to the supermarket, or other chores. Living in Manhattan, it's the fastest way to get around with "stuff".

That was me with the backpack 45 years ago - only I don't recall the escalator or the McDonalds at the station. Now I carry an M and a credit card instead.
