High Altar

Notes

High Altar, All Saint's Church, Lydiard Millicent, Wiltshire. This is my Parish Church and the oldest sections are Norman in origin. I am producing a series of images for the Vicar's Summer Garden Party in July. As you can see the interior is very "minimalist" as is the Church of England tradition. Shot as five Bracketed Frames and Tone Mapped. A Single Frame image cannot show the range of colours and light available.

Nice shot, Steven! But, compared to my Parish Church (reformed, or Calvinist), yours hardly qualifies as minimalist... rich carpets, wood carvings...:-)

Thanks Rick. Out of interest, did you sell all of your other camera gear when you bought the Sony? Steve
