Thank you! Yeah, "hairy" is a good term for that trip;) The hike up to Scout Lookout was relatively easy compared to the last part of the hike where you're scrambling along the dizzying ridge line using the cable guides to help pull you up to Angel's Landing. It definitely took a bit of soul searching before I decided to press on. In the end, the view from on top that day was worth it...just gorgeous, especially with the cloud shadows playing across the scene.
That's a pretty hairy hike up to Angel's Landing! We opted to skip that hike when we were there about 6 weeks ago. I had a heavy pack full of camera gear and didn't think it was a smart idea. Great view though!
