In the original image you see some weak stars patterns on the smaller lights to the left but they are barely visible and vanish in the surrounding light.

Peter, nice and impressive shot! Left from the excavator ship is an light source at the Rhine border, which doesn't shows the star pattern like all the other lights! How comes?
