Normally, I do not like people in shots like these but one cannot expect a 50 story office building lobby to empty due to my wishes. I felt they added a nice touch. Plus the fact that doormen are usually the nicest guys around.
Did some research on this building. Originally, in 1968 the lobby was a showroom for all General Motors cars. Then through the years it changed ownership. The last sale was 4 years ago when it was sold for ..... drumroll....$2.8 billion (that's a b) funded with Qatar and Bahrain money.
In front, it also houses the glass enclosed Apple Store that is open 24/7 and FAO Schwartz, the famous toy store.
