This is an unusual wedding photo since it is considered unlucky for the groom to see the bride before the wedding in her wedding dress. However, in Asia, the pre-wedding shoot receives more emphasis than the wedding shoot itself. My wife and I decided to do it ourselves. So while she was braiding her hair for the shoot, I took the opportunity to take a "selfie" of both of us in our soon-to-be bedroom. Her smile really makes this photo our favorite of up-close shot in the shoot.
