To my eye, this needs straightening? Glass looks as though it will slide off the table to the left. Easily fixed unless there is a specific reason for posting it like this. Regards Stephen

Great photo, color, lighting, saturation and effective depth of field control. I feel like I am physically in front of the subject.

"In Control - Evening Star, Locomotive 92220, The Red Dragon" Three frames shot sitting in the drivers seat looking up the line. This is worth seeing as a Master File just to wallow in the detail shown in the pipe work top left. Even I am impressed! You can't get an idea from this image of how close I am to the control wheel bottom left of centre. This was shot at f/11. DOF to die for. Hard to believe that there is a better 21mm Prime Lens out there in the market.

I have not really answered your question properly. I am a DxO convert. I stoped using Adobe Camera RAW about 14 months ago. I find that the RAW conversions with DxO are superior even to ACR 5.7, even in Default mode. DxO is excellent at correcting Lens Distortions and for Keystoning. The dedicated camera and lens Plug-In's are possibly the reason why. Can send you a "Get Started" methodology that I have written for others over on flickr. e-mail me at bajanexile@aol.com

Workflow: All images are viewed directly from the CF Card using BreezeBrowser Pro. I examine the images using the Magnifying Tool for sharpness. Selected images are moved to my HD. The rest are binned. RAW conversions are with DxO including adjustments for Exposure, WB and Keystoning. The 16-Bit TIFF's go to Photomatix for Tone Mapping and then to CS3 if necessary. Stephen

Gorgeous! How do you like DxO? I tried using it once with my Sony files but found the workflow a bit difficult. It would be nice if it could be integrated into PS or LR. I just did not like having to convert each file individually then loading them into light room. Am I missing something here in the workflow?
